Kiwi Game Starter 2018 Winner
Every year, NZGDA (New Zealand Game Developers Association) offers a game development funding award and startup programme for game businesses called Kiwi Game Starter.
After multiple years of entry and making it to the finalist stage twice (but never further) with Ten Thousand Coins in different stages of development, I am happy to say that this year in 2018 Ten Thousand Coins won first place!
The result was announced during NZGDC18 on 2nd of August.
As with every year, the competition is very tough as many entries show quality and effort. I would like to give a shout out to my fellow finalists this year from Kiwi Game Starter for putting their game out there for everyone to see, and wish them all the best on their future development!
